As always, Dresrosa has come out with an incredible #157 review. Rize helping Kaneki shift into his final personality and getting him to embrace her after all this time makes a lot of sense. It would be the logical way to round off their relationship.
If chapter 158 has fucked you up, get through most of the angst revision in this video and get to the end. There is hope for Kaneki yet.
