April was an encouraging month for rescue as we heard news from @ijm that two successful rescue operations were conducted by IJM-trained organizations. These resulted in the freedom of two young boys (ages 5 & 7) who had been sold to a goat farm for $150, and the rescue of 12 children and 9 adults who were trapped in a brick kiln. _ In the words of IJM: “These two successful rescue operations are the fruit of IJM’s comprehensive anti-slavery program in India, whereby we’re working with governments, NGOs and other partners to help the justice system better protect the poor.” _ Learn more about the great work of IJM at ijm.org & mark your calendars to join us this winter for #dressember2018 where we have another opportunity to fund more rescues just like these. _ #itsbiggerthanadress #endhumantrafficking (at Los Angeles, California)
