Wyatt adjusted the button (BUTTON!!!) on his cuff as he exited the library, retrieving his brother’s phone from his pocket to investigate its contents. He guessed the password on the first try and immediately located the photo gallery to scratch an itch that’d been bothering him for the past several weeks. Switching to the messages, he was pleased to note all the times that Ash complained of having to get a new phone, gratified in the only way a sibling with the upper hand could be. 

He returned to where most of the families were being greeted and cast his gaze over tearful reunions and emotional displays to seek Ash. Unfortunately, the texts didn’t say anything about where to meet, so he was banking on the man to show up. Luckily, he spotted the head of mousy hair at the edge of the crowd, its owner looking predictably unhappy about being there.

“Were you waiting long?” Wyatt asked as he approached, letting his brows furrow in the same way Will’s did whenever his Uber was late.

Task 01: Interview 

What were you doing in the locker room/clinic at the time of the lockdown?

I was checking on a friend. He got his shit kicked.

Why were you in possession of prohibited items at the time of the lockdown?

I’m not eligible for release. I have to pass the time somehow.

It has been brought to our attention that a conspiracy may have formed within the compound. What do you know about this?

It doesn’t surprise me, but I don’t have anything to do with that.

Why would someone invent or lie about your possible involvement? 

I’m pretty unpopular among certain residents here. They like it when I’m away for a few days.

Have you ever thought about trying to illegally leave Belmont? 

Where am I gonna go? You psychos will just come after me.

Why don’t you feel that you are being given fair opportunities here? 

I was wrongfully convicted and you all have no intention of ever letting me leave.

Who else should I speak with in order to clear this up?

The powers that be, I’m guessing. At least consider reviewing my original case.

Is there anything else you think I should know about this?

About this? Not that I know of. In unrelated news though, Bash Alvarez has a crush.

What were you doing in the clinic at the time of the lockdown? Getting patched up. Case you hadn’t noticed, I’m there a lot. 

Why were you in possession of prohibited items at the time of the lockdown?  Chingate, that’s why. 

It has been brought to our attention that a conspiracy may have formed within the compound. What do you know about this? Nothing. 

Why would someone invent or lie about your possible involvement? Because I cause trouble anyway and it’d be easy to pin it on me. 

Have you ever thought about trying to illegally leave Belmont? Why the hell would I tell you? 

Why don’t you feel that you are being given fair opportunities here? ‘Cause we’re not. This place is a prison and you’re all pendejos. 

Who else should I speak with in order to clear this up? No idea. 

Is there anything else you think I should know about this? No.

Bailey shut off the shower despite being covered in suds, straining to hear past the background crackle of the intercom. His brows furrowed at the announcement of a lockdown, immediately on high alert and suspicious about the lack of information offered. While sweeps weren’t entirely uncommon, complete lockdowns like these usually indicated that something had gone wrong.

At the sound of a clatter from around the corner, Bailey grabbed his towel and shoved back the curtain. “Did they say how long it’ll be?”

“Attention all staff and students, we are currently moving into a lockdown situation. Do not panic and listen closely to this announcement. If you are currently outside, move to your closest building at this time. If you are found on the grounds during the sweep, security will escort you to a holding area. For the safety of you and your classmates, at no time can you use an electronic device or attempt to leave your designated area. The administration will provide an update once each building has been cleared.”

Participating characters have been split into two buildings, the locker room and the clinic. Movement is highly restricted as guards search for anything amiss. The problem-- each character has some form of contraband on their person. How do you proceed?

Drugs or drug paraphernalia

Electronic devices with recording capabilities

Any item not considered clothing or accessories, food (outside of the cafeteria), or personal effects (subject to consideration)
