Can now confirm the truth of this matter, as I have been adopted by a thoroughly wonderful (if occasionally exhausting) extrovert named Drew at work who accosted me at lunch.

Later, he said, “I don’t harass, I politely approach.”

Me: “Dude, you shouted at me from across the breakroom the day we met.”

Him: “... I did?”

Me: “HI MY NAME IS DREW WHAT’S YOUR NAME WILL YOU SIGN MY BINGO CARD”

Him: “... sounds like me.”

Pro-tip: make friends with an extrovert. They’ll do all the annoying social stuff you don’t want to do, like asking coworkers to sign your bingo card for you if you promise to pay them in cookies.
