Six Sentence Sunday: 3/15/20 - Sneak Peek: Episode 3, Part 2 (DotC)
So, I’ve decided that from next week onward, I’ll be doing two of each daily writing posts: One collection for subplots and details (including the episode formats), and the other for more major parts of ToF (sneak peeks, characters etc., and the actual chapters whenever to accompany those posts at the same posting time). The other SSS is coming later, and will extend a lot beyond six sentences (this one is around 8-14, considering the periods in each one, even parts with quotes are sentences to me). So, think of it as an interval of a sneak peek.

“How was it like, growing up in the capital of the South as a princess?” Drew asked Ruby, their arms linked as they walked among the mountain-esque hill high above the Goldenguard Sea. “Y’know, your father being the king, older sister being an anomaly to people for her skill, and your brother being one of the most dangerous warriors in the land.”
She sighed, taking a deep breath in before answering. “Not the exact easiest,” she shook her head, looking over her left shoulder. “Women in our position, especially if they’re non-conforming to typical femininity or royal, of which I’m both work extremely hard.” she remembered being scolded by the stewardesses of ladies’ behavior, while her three sisters, Lyra, Diana and Caitlin were never smacked as punishment, as they were perfect in the eyes of them and all the others. “I’ve always dreamed of being a knight, jousting against others and winning, being the best of the best, and living and running free. But, since I’m a girl, there’s no hope of that.”
‘But the woman is important too.’ spoke the feminist, strong-willed and fiery-blooded side of her in her head. She looked down to the ground as they stopped walking, beginning to feel rather down.
“You’re every bit as good as your sisters and the feminine princesses, despite how you like dark colors and want to be a knight instead,” Drew told her, lifting her head up so she could look him in the eyes. “My mother told me when I was younger, it’s not the dresses, face, and pretty makeup that make a princess ladylike and beautiful. It’s the heart that counts. And you, Ruby Dragonorage, have a beautiful heart.”
