So, my plan is to upload as many events for each day of the week that I missed out on. It’ll be a lot, but I should have a lot of Six Sentence Sundays up tomorrow.
But in the meanwhile, it’s Storyteller Saturday! For any of my followers, feel free to send me some!
Finally finished the first chapter of the first book in the DotC prequel series! The book is my Camp Nano project for this year, hopefully I can get it done within the whole month!
Here’s the link! (On Inkitt; Wattpad, Commaful and Quotev ones coming tomorrow <3)
So, for my posts today, I’m doing two Trivia Tuesdays, and the Motivation Monday that was supposed to be done yesterday.
And, it’s official; I’m doing Camp Nano. Kicking off a DotC prequel series, beginning with the Arthur family.

Alright, so; today, I’ll be doing three posts: Six Sentence Sunday (sneak peek at the Brannon sisters, another large part to the story), Trivia Tuesday, and WIP Wednesday. I was late on both because of the crazy week I had, but they WILL be done today.
Love, Rose.
To everyone who’s following me; I apologize for not uploading my Trivia Tuesday and WIP Wednesday posts. Life’s been a little hectic, and both are coming later tonight. Wash your hands and stay inside, yet with the virus going around, and stay safe. I won’t be doing an episode summary/format either, as I haven’t even begun number 2 yet and I don’t feel like it. So, you’ll be getting it probably Monday.
Hugs, Rose.

Motivation Monday: 3/23/20 - DotC Inspiration/Mutuals Tag
Hello, one and all, and welcome back to my blog! I apologize for not doing any of my planned posts last week, but it was pretty hectic for me, and I got so distracted and didn’t remember the important things I had to get done and posted until the last minute. So there you have it. Haha.
Anyways, I looked at the Motivation Monday purpose, and it’s usually used for actual fandoms and not original works. So, I decided to make today’s post into a post explaining where my inspiration came from and such (scenery, names, hairstyles, plot, symbolism and etc.), so you guys can get a little look at my inspo/motive for DotC. (G.L.I.T.Z is on hiatus until I finish chapters 2 and 3.)
The symbolism for animals of the families that ruled each part of the realm (north, south, east and west) represent what the first kings of their individual lineages wanted to bring to the realm: Alain Dragonorage chose the dragon for his want to bring strength to the realm in both leaders and health/condition during the south’s unpredictable weather changes (dragons are symbolic of strength), Felix Arthur fought and conquered the north[east] for peace (wolves symbolize peace, as it used to be a wild and dangerous place, Erik Alagstoyne wanted to bring freedom to the eastern shores (horses can be representing of freedom), and Terra Greygrim fought to bring harmony to the west (dolphins symbolize harmony).
Scenery was very much inspired by castles in European countries: France, Scotland, Ireland, Italy etc., and many more places. I also researched certain locations in the US, such as my inspo for the Rainbow Rose Garden (pictures to be posted later).
Hairstyles, at least for women are a big deal and have symbolism behind them (especially for the Arthurs and Victoires). Because of this, Ruby usually wears mini buns or crown braids to pay homage to her Victoire side. Diana and Caitlin tend to lean more towards the hairdos old Dragonorage queens wore, but will wear Victorian styles every here and there. Tali Arthur also does this, wearing braided buns and her hair down, with a part braided into a crown-esque shape over her head/hairline.
Character names usually stem from the cultures the made-up languages for the kingdoms are based off of, which will be in a later post, for my first-ever Worldbuilding Wednesday in a couple days.
And finally, there is a plot, but it isn’t specified in a certain ground yet. It’s just focused on certain groups of characters/families, and is much more character-driven as opposed to being moved forward by plot.
And now, onto tagging my lovely mutuals who’ve motivated me: @leave-her-a-tome, @emdrabbles, @desi-pluto, @dowings, @fluorescent--fantasy thank you all!!!
Until tomorrow’s post! See you all later! Goodbye for now <3
Xo, Rose :)
