Reading #2: Allergy to Originality by Drew Christie

Interesting ideas from the video and the reading:

I found that the idea of unoriginality that Drew Christie found from a donated book was really interesting because she found other places where the almost same sentence was in.

The video was really interesting to how it showed unoriginality because there is too many sequels and remakes of the same things over and over again in today’s society.

The ticketer that recited the Wiki pages as the evidence to support his argument on unoriginality emphasized how he like others just say the things they remember from sources that they once heard, saw or read from.

It is not uncommon to read something that seemed familiar because it is probably already done before in one way or another.

I think that unoriginality is not an issue because in the terms of fashion, the same fashion statement now could be a fashion statement in ten years. People tend to like things that seem familiar.

Many love story plots today are just a tweak of Romeo and Juliet. But people still love the “new” plots just as much as they did the original.
