Who cries when they find out about the pregnancy: Raquel cries, Axel is more stunned at first, needing to sit down for a few minutes to process what’s happened. He cries when they hear the baby’s heartbeat for the first time though, that’s when it’s really real for him.
Who says it’s a boy and who says it’s a girl: Raquel doesn’t have a preference but Axel hopes it’s a boy, mostly for silly reasons. He buys a Hamburger SV onesie and baby booties soon after they find out, because they’re going to be raised right and supporting the correct team from birth. Raquel side-eyes him but let’s him do it, mainly because it makes him stupidly happy.
Who suggests ridiculous names: Axel. He’s started mentioning random German football players in conversations and throws in what a wonderful name that would be. After he’s seriously suggested Bastian as a name, she’s forbidden him from suggesting anything else until he comes to his senses.
Who suggests using a family name: They both have family names they’d like to use but are struggling how to combine them.
Who says ‘veto’ to the most names: Raquel. Hell will freeze before her child will be named after a football player or a car racer. No matter how much he pouts when she vetoes his suggestions, she remains adamant about it.
Who reads the most ‘What To Expect’ books: Axel ferociously reads everything he can, it’s his way of settling his nerves. She gets him to give her the cliff notes versions of everything he’s reading though.
Who insists on having a ‘gender reveal’ party: Neither really. Axel doesn’t see the point and Raquel would rather be surprised so instead, they have a vary low-key baby shower which mainly consists of eating and chilling out.
Who thinks ‘Maybe a home birth is a good idea’: Raquel suggests it as a joke, which he thinks is so not funny.
Who is in charge when it comes to decorating the nursery: Raquel, she chooses neutral colors and nature theme. He sneaks in a football lamp though, but she let’s it slide.
Who talks to the unborn baby the most: They both do. Raquel talks to the baby in Portuguese and Marcel hums German children’s songs at the baby at night.
Who suggests having sex to kick start labor: Raquel, the hormones have been kicking her butt but it’s not like Axel would ever say no, would he?
Who cries the most when the baby is born: Axel. How could he not?

oh, it’s an expansion pack for a video game I’ve played for far too long, they’re sending out the beta testing invites starting next week!
I didn’t get alpha access, but since I got beta testing on the last expansion pack, I’m hoping I get invited back for this one.

who is more likely to get injured doing small tasks: Raquel, although she’s not clumsy, she’s just usually doing eleven things at the same time and sometimes, it just doesn’t work for her. Like the time she was carrying eleven hundred bags from IKEA back home and tripped on one of them in the foyer. This was after she told him she was only going to get new spoons. He still teases her about it sometimes. Just because he can.
who worries more about the other: They’re both worriers. Raquel bugs him to talk when he goes quiet and he’s bought her pepper-spray for when she goes running very late at night. She thinks he’s ridiculous because of it but carries it anyway because she knows it makes him feel better.
who is more afraid about the other leaving them: Junior, probably. She’s been such a huge part of his life for years that he sometimes worries what he would do without her but at the same time, he’s also started stupid fights that have almost broken them up, so.
who is more likely to leave (for any reason): Junior, actually, because as much as he craves stability and closeness, he also gets shit-scared when he actually gets it.
who is more likely to drunkenly confess: Raquel, usually about something silly. Like how something he’s done has either angered her or turned her on.
who is more likely to push the other away (for any reason): Junior, again. He’s not good with dealing with his emotions and when she presses him about them, he withdraws further. H
who picks fights more often: Junior, because he puts his foot in it and says something stupid that sets her off semi-regularly. He doesn’t actually mean to do it but still.
who usually apologizes first: Junior. He’s the one that starts fights but he also feels like shit about them and always apologizes first. She holds grudges longer than he does, so sometimes they can spend a day barely talking because she’s not ready to forgive him just yet.
who is more likely to withhold their feelings for the other: Junior, he’s not good with spilling his heart out. He tells his friends he loves them but when he’s actually in love with someone, he has trouble saying the words. Probably because after he says it, he’s all in and then if it doesn’t work, it’ll kill him.
who is more likely to lash out at the other: Raquel. Junior is usually cool, calm and collected and that just makes her more angry. She’ll slam doors and yell at him while he refuses to engage.
who gets more jealous: Raquel, I think. Junior can side-eye other people flirting with her but ultimately trusts her. She’s more fiery and less good with controlling her displeasure, although she also knows he doesn’t cheat as he’s not the type to.
who is more likely to support the other in a relationship with someone else “as long as they’re happy”: Raquel. Junior isn’t good with exes and actively stops all thoughts and communications about/with them, so he doesn’t have to deal with it. It hurts less that way, he’s convinced.
