I stumbled upon a strange fossil...or possibly a rock formation. I really have no clue.
Maybe someone on Tumblr will know what it is.

Art By: Drhoz - Found on the artist's personal website (currently down at time of posting, along with the entirety of furry.org.au), made circa 1999
If you are interested in archiving these old webhosts (I did not get all of furry.org.au before it went offline, though hopefully this downtime is temporary), you can look into mirroring the sites mentioned here as a start: https://en.wikifur.com/wiki/Category:Web_hosts
Rey goes to Penguin Island, Western Australia.
(That’s @drhoz in the background)
Chaorite or Charoite? (love the pics though - I’m just a pedant :/ )
oh my god I totally misread the gem’s name, how did that happen - I cant believe I goofed like that but Charoite IS the more correct spelling (which means the purple one’s nickname would be Charo then)
thank you for pointing that out

who was you first fandom crush?
The first that I remember is Will Scarlet in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. It was the first character to give me Special Pants Feelings. I wrote (Mary Sue) fanfic, I drew pictures, it started creeping into my school work...
I was 12.
If tumblr had been around in 1992, mine would have been full of Christian Slater and Will Scarlet. While I’ve gone off Christian Slater as I’ve gotten older, I’ve always had a soft spot for this version of Will Scarlet and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves.
In fact, I used a piece of the music from the OST as my processional music when I got married.
It occurs to me that my husband hasn’t even seen one full episode of Band of Brothers, yet between me fangirling about it at him and all the stuff I post on here, he pretty much knows the entire plot...

series of posts on worst invasives in your area. altho that might get depressing... I will be covering a lot of that territory with the 280 days project, and with the blog in general. I like the idea, and I may come back to that specifically! Off the top of my head I’d say house sparrows, European starlings, Japanese knotweed, garlic mustard, and black swallow-wort; this doesn’t include aquatic stuff, obviously, which expands the topic immensely.
