The tea, blossoms, dried nuts and sweets imagery are all from the packaging of tasty souvenirs we brought back home with us from Iran in 2016. The orange blossom is from a box of sweets infused with orange blossom oil (or orange oil?) we bought during our trip to Shiraz, in the south of the country - the city is famous for its orange trees which line the streets and create a fragrance that can put you under a spell while you’re strolling about.
The tiny bread photo is from one of our breakfasts, where we often had fresh barbari (the name of the bread) - buying bread fresh every/almost every morning from a local bakery is most affordable and the norm for most people in Iran. Although there are supermarkets, they’re actually very expensive and only a minority of wealthier people usually shop there. So at least local greengrocers, butchers and bakers aren’t losing their jobs to supermarkets I guess...
