finally posting my quincy x drifter vampire fic (after procrastinating on the editing process for way too long lol). it ended up being 13 chapters and roughly 10k words total and there will be a part 2 since i barely went into actual lore in this part

Lucero gets sent to 1999, assuming that Albrecht Entrati sought out regular human soldiers. To his surpise he ends up getting closer to a charming Toreador and finds himself entangled in the Vampire society that's been hidden right under his nose his entire life.

probably the two questions i would have the most to say about lol but not gonna go in-depth into it for this
Q1: 🧒How does your Drifter feel about their counterpart/The Operator?
A1: lucero is insanely scared of eros because of things that have happened (murder and indirect cannibalism probably being the worst of those). eros fully stopped doing those things but lucero still constantly feels threatened. at the same time though he still meets up with him on the regular because lucero wants nothing more than for eros to grow up (even if it might not be physically) and be at peace. he does everything he can to help eros because at the end of the day he's much more worried and protective over him than he is scared. he also feels responsible for him but that's mostly eros' feelings about that rubbing off on him.
Q2: 🧑👦How does your Drifter view their counterpart? As an entirely separate person, the same person with a different experience, or just the same person?
A2: lucero sees eros as a completely different person, sibling-like feelings would probably best describe it because they're biologically connected (especially when it comes to their current transformation) and wouldn't be able to actually permanently harm or neglect each other
