Anyone that knows me knows I don't Facebook, snap chat or even say very much. I been raising this kid all these years, defending him , protecting him and providing everything I could that he needed to succeed. Yesterday I dropped him off with the US Army. Now he's going to defend this country and protect all of us. Can't be prouder of Cameron. It felt good being there to support him for his swear in but couldn't help notice all the young men and women with no one there. It makes me sad that either there was no parents around or they couldn't make it or just didn't care to show up. I saw Cam take extra time to talk to other kids and make them more comfortable in what was happening like a vet. He's going to do awesome in the Army. He landed in Columbia last night and got to base at about 9pm. I hope he didn't get smoked right off the bus but if he did I bet he took it and kept moving forward. #notscared #ftjackson #armystrong #di #drillinstructorsbelike this kid got it.
