For the headcanon ask....

I have this idea for a Humanformers AU where Drill and Max are roommates turned nerds in love, with Max being a beefcake cop and Drill a music teacher who performs in pubs and clubs every other week to afford rent.

But what made Drill fall for Max... was through the introduction of game nights. And through them playing a game Max picked out that's themed on something Drill loves (The Amazing Frog for example), Drill finally saw the more relaxed, wholesome and silly side to Max when he isn't in his usual stiff and stern mood... by being a frog in a cop costume who can't walk straight and Max making whispered jokes about how the way the frog walks is so him.

It's so sudden and out of the blue, Drill can't help but cough from how hard he laughs... as he also realizes just how much he loves Max~

Sure!

Because Drillburst and Fort Max both went through virtually the same traumatic event, they always comfort each other whenever they have panic attacks. It’s mostly Max comforting Drill though, as he’s already gotten the help he needs with Rung, and he’s recovered a great amount by the time they fall in love. When he comforts Drillburst, the things he does and says are actually things Rung did for him!

Max wishes Drill could stop being paranoid and dependent on music so he can find a therapist of his own, but he won’t rush. As long as Drill has ways to calm down, Max can be patient and persuasive all he’d like til he’s finally heard.
