just when we (me and my four classmates) were planning to ditch our summer compliance class for the day, our teacher beat us to it. hence, a one-on-one make-up class with geabs, because the others were elsewhere.

boys' (+ me) night out.

It was a holiday ‘cause it’s Labor day, he was out w his friends. They made pizza at his friend’s house yesterday afternoon while I just stayed in. I had plans of going out and spend some me-time but was too lazy to get up and I was still glued to the laptop because of HIMYM. We were texting and I told him bout my supposed to be me-time, idk I think he thought I was lonely. He asked if I was alright, I told him I was but he teasingly insisted that I was being anti-social. Haha, dusk and I was still in my PJs, he calls and asks if I wanted to go out w him and the guys. I kinda hesistated thinking the guys might mind, but since the power just went out, so that means I’d have to spend the next three hours in the dark, I agreed to the idea. I hadn’t taken a bath, so they had to wait for me for bout 30mins. Hahaha and off we went. On our way, he asked me how my day was, bout HIMYM and if I was really alright. He talked bout his day, the pizza, the booze (yes, they already had a few back their friend’s house and here we are on our way to a drinking spree). And then we talked bout my supposed me-time. He was telling me, there was something bout my text, that he felt I needed some time out(side) and that he also wanted to see me today. Ditto. Anywho, Typical boys’ night out, we went drinking, ate a few and laughed a lot. One of his friends from last time remembered me, calling me "catwoman", all thanks to that cat episode, and every once in awhile mentioning how I freaked. Then there’s the other friend who was awkwardly quiet, that I had to repeatedly ask Gee if his friend was alright. What happened was, it seems like he was the fifth wheel, when in fact I should’ve felt that, since technically I was the outsider. But Gee assured me that that’s just the way his friend is and I let it go.  Everything was fine. Aside for the fact that I forgot my glasses and i kinda made a fool out of myself, I mistaken a rolled-up piece of tissue paper for chicken skin, (well the lighting of the place was kinda poor) and told gee in a subtle way that he was a messy eater. (Shiettt) Then there was when I told Gee to cut the ‘sili’ in half, he said; “bulag ka nga talaga pag wala glasses mo nu, nakahalf na sya.” And giggled. I just let out an “oh!” And giggled myself. Damn, that was dumb. I wonder what his two friends thought of me. @@ It was getting late. we had to call it a day, since today’s a working day and it was clearly past my bedtime. Haha, Gee brought me home, and after making sure he got home alright, I went straight to bed. —- Last night was great, though I wasn’t lonely at all or I think I wasn’t, I guess I needed it; I needed to go out and have a drink, a good laugh. I needed to be around people. it’s a good thing that some people can see through you!

December 1, 2008 Gerry's Grill Blue Wave Marquinton The very much anticipated and almost moved/canceled Christmas Party of Total Log Ban Gang, which is probably the earliest we had so far. At first it was supposed to be somewhere in Libis, but due to Kring's reasons we opted here in Marikina. Nevertheless, it was a fun night. April was too happy to oblige to pose for us paparrazis. Almost everyone had gifts, and I sure hope that they all liked it. Gob also posted his pics of the night here.
