Benefits of Black Tea
would you recommend the book Thirteen Reasons Why to someone who read The Fault in Our Stars ???
To me, they are two very different books. Both look at serious issues but I do not think suicide and cancer are in the same category. Both also are very poetic at times and have great quotes to me...they also deal with teens in a very real way. I recommend Thirteen Reasons Why to many different people, and I think if you like John Green, there will be a good change you would like Jay Asher. However, if suicide is not something you feel comfortable reading about, then I would not recommend this books. I will also say that the one criticism I have heard from people who didn't like Thirteen Reasons Why is that it didn't make her suicide important enough. I disagree and really do like the book, but I will put that out there for the other side of things.
Thanks for the question! Hope that helped!
