The weather next day, after the magical sunset 🌅, became completely bad 🌧, so we ended up visiting small waterfalls, called Hraunfossar, and hot springs. Visually, this was probably the second favorite place we visited in Iceland 🇮🇸. It looks bizarre, just like somebody spilled different colors of paint all over the place. 🎨 . . There’s a haunted cave in these cliffs with hardly pronounced name ‘Rauðfeldsgjá’ mostly full of small waterfalls, dead birds and scared tourists. We called this place ‘Touristic crack’. You can hike some of it, and there’s a possibility to go all way up, but it requires a bit of climbing skills and the acceptance of getting wet. I climbed some of it, but being alone and the constant sight of dead birds bodies made me uncomfortable, and I decided not to go too far. 😬😁 You will see more of this cave in my stories. . . Next thing we visited was the famous elephant rock 🐘. We were lucky, that water level was low, so we could actually come close to it. Of course, I couldn’t help myself, but to climb it. 😁 As we were there, water started to come back, so we had to get away pretty quick. . . As we drove farther, we stopped at the unknown canyon with nice cascade of waterfalls, which happened to be on the middle of nowhere, as usual.
