drjinki:
Jinki looked up to see what seemed to be someone’s shadow over towering him. The stranger might not be that much taller than him but from his blurry vision, the shadow could resemble a mountain for all he knows.
Jinki blinked once harshly before his eyes could distinguish the man’s facial features then Jinki could see the worry in the stranger’s eyes.
He let out an embarrassed chuckle. ”Yes, I would appreciate it. Thank you.” Jinki was about to sit himself up from the floor but something dripped to his lips. Curiosity was his first priority as he licked his lips.
“Iron”He thought, as his fingers touched his nose. The source was blood dripping down. Jinki knew it wasn’t a big deal since facial wounds were typically bloodier than any place other than the face but also messier.
"Ah, don’t worry I can get up." He said, not wanting to touch the other’s hand with his bloody ones. Jinki can never tell between people who are squeamish of blood or not. "That’s what happens when you don’t learn to not run into walls…"
It's common knowledge that one probably shouldn't divert their eyes from the direction their walking. They can trip, knock something over, run into someone-- or in this particular case, run smack into a wall. Of course, Taemin can't exactly chide the man. He can't even count the amount of times he's been guilty of such a thing, but the brief snort of laughter that escapes him can't be helped.
Except, it can, because as he stands awkwardly over the stranger in the hospital lobby, hand outstretched, he immediately quiets the rude noise after seeing the trickle of thick, red liquid streaming from the person's nose.
"Um," he manages, eyebrows now furrowing with more worry than he had originally felt, because it seems that this man has actually done a number on himself. "It's fine, let me help." He insists, and rather than taking the bloodied hand, he grasps his wrist, pulling gently but with enough strength to get the other back on his feet, his other digging into his pocket to pull out a clean tissue he had been keeping for a rather sad visit to a person currently residing within the walls of the hospital.
