💚Happy Sunday beauties!! Hope you all had an amazing weekend and you’re still staying safe & healthy. This post has been a long time coming. I was able to try the @drjmeelab 2 Step Facial Masks for a small trial fee through @0.8l_usa (a while ago). While I’m not a really big fan of sheet masks, I do really like that this has both face and eye masks. The smaller eye patches can be used under the eyes or on the smile lines, an added benefit. While it did make my face smooth and brighter, I haven’t been able to see any real long-term changes. With consistent use of this, maybe I would. I do also want to note that this package is probably one of the biggest I’ve seen, with 10 individual packets in each box; each packet containing a face mask and two eye patches. I’m still trying to find out whether or not they are cruelty free, which would help determine if I were to ever buy it. Have you beauties tried anything from @drjmeelab ? Thank you @0.8l_usa and @drjmeelab for letting me test this product. 🌟Claims: A serum that helps calm skin that has become reddened, dry, and sensitive due to external stressors. 🌟Notable Ingredients: Centella Asiatica Extract, Madecassoside, Panthenol, and Aloe Barbadensis Extract. 🌟Scent: Faint citrus scent. 🌟Use: After toner, pump a small amount and let absorb. You can also add before moisturizer and let absorb. This serum is great for skin that's a bit irritated or just needs a little TLC. The serum is like a creamy gel containing soothing ingredients, that coats and instantly soothes skin. It is specifically geared for sensitive and dry skin and it's free of artificial dyes and fragrance. I recently started using retinol again and my skin is peeling and suffering from some redness. Using this serum helps instantly cool and soothe my skin while leaving a semi-matte finish. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated and plumped even with the peeling and dryness that comes from the retinol treatment. This works perfectly for the summer since I don't like dewy or glowy skincare when it's hot and humid. An oil that turns into a foam cleanser. It isn’t super foamy but that’s not an issue for me because I⁣ don’t want the benefits and ingredients to disappear into a bunch of foam. It is more like it turns into a soapy cleanser. Double cleansing is a big skincare trend right now. It involves washing your face in two steps, first by using an⁣ oil-based cleanser, followed by a water-based cleanser. This has the potential to do both in one step. However, I found my skin was really dried⁣ out after using. It also has a strong citrus based scent which I like but this will not be great for those with scent sensitivities. I have normal to dry combo skin so while this product didn’t really work for me, I think those with oily skin will really benefit from it. A note of caution – not good for removing eye makeup – in fact, it irritated my eyes. First of all, this is really cool and unique! Like.. it’s not a liquid formula! No problem of it leaking in the bag! Also, the pink capsules in the mist are camellia oil capsules and when you spray it on your face, the capsules burst and land on your skin, creating a nice protective layer to seal in the moisture. It’s not sticky compared to some other mists I’ve used and it’s definitely got a cooling effect since the jelly like texture allows for the most formula to stay cool~ I just wish the particles were smaller?
