R2D2 and Ben Solo

What happens with Artoo when Leia passes? Who will she leave him to? Do you think he might end up with Ben Solo? What did Artoo see that night? Was he processing? In shock? 

I just think Artoo is going to do somehting ELSE amazingly key in IX and he has a strong connection to the Skywalker line. Unless they kill him off. And I hope not! I love BB8 but I love Artoo too. So much. Now I want that message to play again for Ben. Or one from Rey. “Ben, we -I -we WE have not lost hope.”
