Quick sketch of John Morgan, the main character from the whumpy dystopian thriller I’m hoping to finish within the year, called Second Class Citizen ;p (about 35k into the second draft)

John was born into a respectable middle class family, in a society still within the shadow of a rather stringent caste system. He throws away a career as a psychologist to work as a journalist, documenting the government’s treatment of lowborn, for the high-noble class traitor, Carter.

In doing so his parents and friends shun him; he becomes rather isolated. But it’s okay because he knows he’s doing honorable work, and a few of his coworkers are rather cute- especially Henry.

Henry and John become rather good friends as the months go by.

While walking home from work he’s attacked; brutally assaulted and tortured by one of many local gangs the police pointedly ignore. And it just so happens one of these gang members is a cop. He’s threatened into silence and with no recourse spirals into a deep hole.

Henry decides to pick up the pieces and takes matters into his own hands.

Dear Florida Governor Ron:

Three weeks ago, I got over a very mild flu that had lasted about 10 days. I feel fine now. I wanted to be tested to see if I had developed antibodies for Covid-19. I usually get the flu when it is going around, and it usually makes me rather sick. This latest flu was very mild, with similar symptoms to the usual flu but also different.

When will we begin testing EVERYONE specifically for the presence of Covid-19 antibodies? The Chinese clinical studies indicate that the survivors of Covid-19 have antibody laden plasma that can be administered intravenously to victims unable to beat the infection on their own and cure them, no hoax, really, no hoax, at least not a hoax of the magnitude the US Government is.

Also, those people recovered who have Covid-19 antibodies can stay working and this seems especially important for those who RENT since we RENTERS are also ordered to stay home and neither State nor Federal government is doing anything financially to help people who are RENTERS pay their RENT even though the government is helping those folks with a mortgage delay mortgage payments for up to a year.

If those who RENT are going to face greater hurdles financially than other Americans and Floridians during this pandemic, possibly someone in Governor DeSantis office could get off their FUCKING GOD DAMN USELESS ASS and at least facilitate our return to the work force so we can help ourselves rather than slide into homelessness while the rest of Americans get some respite from this disaster called the covid-19 pandemic DAMNABLY INCOMPETENT AND LAZY US GOVERNMENT.

Governor Ron, could it be the Government is dragging its feet just to allow a Trump family member time to patent a vaccine and make a fortune off the American cattle?
