Some adopts that I did in collaboration with @splitbandit in order to help raise funds for a mutual friend who’d developed severe carpal tunnel. These are all Dropzillas, from the same CS as my character Lethe! I’m delighted to say that they all sold, with Midnight (now Lyon) being bought at a higher price that involved an expanded reference sheet!

Monochrome commission for Jayethekat@TH of their Dropzilla, Azurine! Really lovely girl, this was most of her color palette anyways so not too much of a stretch. What fun to draw.

And then I said to myself, what if I channeled all my ‘I just finished Dawn of the Future and I have a lot of feelings’ impulses into making the most garbage, edgy boy imaginable? Lethe, the Moon Eater, is a Dropzilla because I needed someone so I could play with others and decided for some reason that making him literally the worst was the way to go.

Speaking of Lethe, here’s his alternate outfit for when he’s out and about and doesn’t want to be super recognizable (because I had written him immediately assessing another Dropzilla’s power level by their visual traits and realized hey, that could be a problem).  So this is his outfit while acting as the leader of the Pale Masks, a brotherhood of dark mages that he runs! It’s a magical disguise made of the dark ‘jelly’ that forms the essential component of a Dropzilla’s body; wearing it hides all the horns/wings/other visual indicators of the species, but only mages of a certain strength can wear it without overexerting themselves since it is formed of their own essence. He uses it as a sort of trial by fire for mages who want to join the Masks. You have to have enough faith in your own ability that putting on the mask won’t outright kill you... and then enough ability to actually manage it. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn’t. What Lethe doesn’t tell anyone is that the black ‘ribbons’ of the mask is formed of his own essence and gives him a certain magical hold over the wearer. Of course, theoretically that same bond could be turned back on him... but if he isn’t the strongest, is he really fit to lead anyways?

Some assets for a belated Valentine’s event for the Dropzilla CS! Members of the group could basically have an in-character letter sent from their characters to other people’s characters; they’d select a choice of stationary, an optional choice of gift, and then submit the text part of the letter to be handwritten on there for them. Included are a few examples by various users (and of course, my idiot of a character being his charming self in that last one). It was a nice excuse to play around with different handwriting based on what I thought would be appropriate for the vibe of the various characters!

Secret Santa piece done for s1lentkitten in the Dropzilla CS discord server’s christmas event! Somehow, I undermined my promise to my self to quit doing flowers for the millionth time, but here we are. I’ve beaten the poor snow effect to death this year, and yet still going strong.
