generally. had to get stuff for dinner and see if i could get my mom's jewelry appraised. but they wanted like $75 dollars to clean it and appraise it and i was like nah son

I don't get the headaches as much as I used to, but I've been wearing glasses since I was about 3 or 4 and have had a new prescription every year for the last 20 years. Lack of funds kept me in my last pair for almost 4 years. So, yeah, that headache was a doozy.

wow it sounds like your prof is going for breadth of reading and not depth. that might be something to mention on the end of semester evals so she’ll be more merciful to future students.
yeah i mean like it's a foundational course (which i sort of think is a little ridiculous to have at the graduate level? but whatever) so i guess she's going as broad as possible
at the same time though the topic for this week is embodiment and she's focusing on embodiment discussions surrounding pregnancy etc so like idk why we have 200+ pages on such a specific topic
