fat trans women and fat transfems are so important
thank you fat trans women / transfems ⭐
You have no idea how good it feels to run into strangers who headcanon a character as aro. In spaces where ships are taken too seriously and around friends who just don't really care all too much about aromanticism, seeing a complete random person headcanon something that I am in real life brings me so much genuine joy

Non-binary people can't use they/them because they're only one person. Non-binary people can't use it/its because it's dehumanizing. Non-binary people can't use neopronouns because they're too confusing. Non-binary people can't use he/him and/or she/her because that's not gender neutral. Non-binary people can't use no pronouns because that's too hard to use.
No matter what pronouns a non-binary person uses somebody will get mad at them.

white queers are always so damned certain that "true" queerness is for them & them alone. expressions of queerness from Black people (most notably, Black women & those percieved as women) that don't center whiteness & aren't tailored for white audiences are always, always pegged as being unbelievable. all this plus a heaping dose of thay classic "all bi women are dirty attention seeking liars" brand of biphobia. fuck off man
#truly go to helllll#i have NOT forgotten nor forgiven the white dykes losing their minds over that clip of megan flirting with lil miami#literally looked at another woman giggling and kicking her feet and said “i'd top if we had sex”#and all these demons in the replies were like “no queer woman would ever talk about sex this way!!!!”#and do you all recall the suspicion aimed @ janelle 'appropriating' queerness when they dropped dirty computer?#I think about it every damn day#AND cardi having to clap some kid on twitter about how she was eating pussy before they were born?#y'all truly hate queer black women who don't fit the mold of soft uwu cottagecore white girl pining so much ( @batmanisagatewaydrug )
I’m gonna talk my shit rq:
The idea of bi women’s queerness is a state of limbo between lesbian and straight is some weird ass shit. Last month, I saw someone on twitter/shitter/x that Billie Ellish’s songs about admiring women felt forced and objectifying. It seems that the queer community has a tendency to view bisexuality in women has a nonexistent plane or forced like straight women have to walk to please men. Yall will scream from the roof tops “Sexuality and queerness are a journey of self discovery” until the person is a bi women and it gets worse if she’s BIPOC. Yall can’t seem to free yourself from the notion that bisexuality in women is dangerous or just a form of temptation for queer women and straight men. Yall are weird.
And another thing:
the purity culture shit in the sapphic community gotta stop. Idk bout yall but I’ve heard queer women talking about wanting to fuck. Not this hyper romanticized image of braiding flower crowns and frolicking in the grass. Like full blown, raunchy, kinky sex. Sapphic & lesbian sex arent these dirty concepts only meant for men’s viewing pleasure. Queer women like to fuck each other and they like to talk about it. That Megan and Lil Miami clip did LAPS in the blk community. We love Megan as a sapphic artist over here.

Microaggressions against polyamory in interpersonal interactions are important and should be discussed, but I do wish more of the conversation focused on the ways that systemic amatonormativity impact things like family units, taxes, healthcare, inheritances, housing, childcare, etc.
I'm not dating or married or related to anyone I live with, and our household of four adults can't get any kind of financial or food or housing aid because we count as three separate households despite our semi-blended finances and living together for a decade. There are laws that have been proposed (at least, I don't know if any passed) that limit housing to nuclear families.
Amatonormativity and polyphobia are not just theoretical "people are kinda mean about this sometimes" -- they are real and materially impactful systemic issues, and they affect all of us.
ive been thinking about how some trans spaces and media lack representation of bottom surgery and itd be nice if we could talk about and depict it more. but my attempts to formulate this into a coherent thought lead me to standing in front of the microwave idly thinking "we should normalize men with penises" as if thats a brave new frontier nobody has ever considered.
I like this post. Because it shows that sometimes, what at the surface sounds like reinforcement of the norm, is actually necessary for a minority that's not included in the norm.
Y'all have seen this post, right?
It was a vaguepost of a trans man who complained about feeling pressure to be feminine. Yet people refer to it completely outside of queer context.
Jonathan Joss was an Indigenous, gay man who was murdered on the first day of Pride month as well as Indigenous History Month. He died protecting his trans husband. Homophobia and racism aren’t marks of the past, and this is a heart breaking reminder of that.
Praying for a safe journey back to the spirit world, Uncle ❤️🩹🦅
Today is the anniversary of the death of Jonathan Joss (King of the Hill, Parks and Rec). Jonathan Joss was an Indigenous, gay man who died protecting his transgender husband, on the first day of Pride month. Today we remember him and how he protected his family.
