I like Dr. Seuss, but TBH, I find a lot of his books cute but unmemorable. Read-once sort of things. This is the exception!! "Dr. Seuss 's ABC" (subtitled "An Amazing Alphabet Book" in the tiny yellow board book edition that has been favoured by two generations of my family), published in 1963, is that rare alphabet book that stays terribly amusing over multiple readings.
