ok im gonna pour out some fire spirit ideas

also heres a drawing. the first 3 are wick, campfire, and bonfire. the other 2 are wildfire and then something not based on real life: energy flame

so these are the five main types i could think of. theres more but lets focus on these for now

Wick: these flames are weak and short-lived. they're not very common, as fire spirits want their children to be powerful and strong and have an impact on the world. being a wick flame means that you most likely wont be able to do that. theyre not that uncommon, though

these fire spirits are very small compared to the other types of spirits. their body (which is like a silhouette of what they were fed) is shaped like a wick. theyd probably be servants to bigger flames

Camp: these ones are more common. one of the most common types. theyre not as short-lived as the wick flames, but they dont live very long. most fire spirits want their children to be bonfires at least.

these fire spirits are viewed as nothing special. maybe they live around 35 years. pulled that out of nothing. i cant think of anything else to say about them

Bon: these are pretty common, though camp and bonfires are probably fighting for the most common-est. they live like a human lifetime maybe?

Wild: these fires are quite rare, as most (uhhh. what do i call baby flames) dont have enough energy to burn down an entire forest, and actually getting the fire started is pretty hard

theyre seen as uhhhhhhh like the elite, maybe. some of them enjoy burning forests down, even after maturing. probably live like a century or two

Energy: these are very rare. the circumstances to create them are unknown, and theyre seen as strange and ancient. they live the longest out of the five, and they live for millenia or longer.

it's said that, before the world as we know it formed, energy flames were the most common or even only fire spirit around, before mysteriously dying out. if its true is unknown.

ok that was a lot. notice how in the image, the flames get lighter and lighter, until the energy flame, which is blue? thats because in science the hotter the flame, the closer to blue or white. so red is the least hot and blue is the most.

i feel that fire spirits have an emphasis on family, and honoring your parents is a big thing, no matter if their status is higher or lower than you. dont know why i associated family with fire spirits. also noting that the fire spirits kinda have a caste system going on. anyways,

ok so this part is vaguely about culture.

i think some of them and other spirits have a war going on. in some area. in which painty was uhhh born? created? i wanted this to partially be the reason painty and the fire spirit combined or whatever

the sun is obviously worshipped.

ok time for a little bit of other ideas

gasoline fires! these fires have a goopy body and hands / feet. theyre not harmed by water like other fire spirits. this is because i think greek fire is like gasoline or something and can burn on water.

some flames think stars are energy flames

[TRANS] WINGS Concept Book: Yoongi’s character in HYYH(~WINGS)

While reading WINGS Concept Book, I found a picture with a monitor screen where some background information of Yoongi’s character in HYYH(~WINGS) was written. Please bear in mind that only a little part was shown in the picture (the first sentence was even cut), so the original character profile must have been more in-depth.

Young Yoongi was afraid of both his father who [...] and his mother who was suffering depression. In the end, his mother committed suicide (by setting a fire) or ended up being confined to a psychiatric hospital. Yoongi tried to save his mother but failed. Yoongi, who had soldier father and inherited artistic talent from his mother, had a dreary and strict childhood.

His childhood experience made him negate both art and his artistic self. But his artistic temperament developed even further as he tried to deny it. He could feel liberated only through art. Amidst it, his self divided more deeply and his underlying anxiety grew bigger, which inevitably resulted in a self-destructive tendency. (It was expressed through arson.)

#His fear: A dark room with no lights on (a room where his mother was locked up because of her depression)

i think its ironic that to be a powerful / long-living fire spirit you have to be a pyra with high enough energy to sustain a flame powerful enough to burn something big (like a bonfire or a forest) but to be an energy flame, one of the longest-living and powerful Fire Spirits, you were most likely a low-energy pyra

what if thought bubbles went over an area and projected something (like a vase) onto it? like "wasn't there a vase there?" or they think of something over a person (their reflection, or for an edgy variation, how their friend looked before they got murdered/they murdered soleone)
