man had the terrible habit of ending up places he truthfully shouldn't be . torchwood should definitely be more difficult to get into , in his defence . he shouldn't have been able to slip inside , shouldn't have found jack's office almost instantly , shouldn't have set himself up behind his computer . but he needed information , and he knew jack would have it.

part of him secretly hoped door opening would be jack , so his smugness was met by someone who knew him , but aged eyes lifted to an unfamiliar face . regardless , smirk spreads over lips , putting feet up on the desk as eyes meet @drtwat .
