I was practicing this one drum fill for over twenty minutes and I just couldn't get it down when I played it in the tempo of the song. So I started slow, then went faster each time but when doing it two or three times after I would screw up again and add in an extra hit somewhere.
But then it was 8:57 and the cut-off for playing drums is 9pm because we have neighbors upstairs. So I decided to just play the song one last time hoping I would get it and I fucking did!
I am so hyped right now!
i swear to god I'm going to make a post overanalysing Reign In Blood, Seasons, and South Of Heaven because I love those damn albums.
If a drum fill is worth doing, it's worth doing properly.
