The demon was sitting on the armchair or for better word Faust arm chair…well it wasn’t this important as he know that the man was not there and probably drunk as a way to dull the pain…as medecine he could say if he wanted to take his dear « master »vocabulary. Speaking of his dear doctor….the demon could hear the door opened and the unsure steps of a drunk men as the poor man tried to walk in front him, looking slightly irritated.
He wondered why.
« Ah ! Dear doctor ~ was your evening pleasant ?~ » he said with his honeyed voice , moving his unusual looking legs on the other waiting for Faust to answer…or at least trying to. God, he looked like he would fall soon enough if he don’t do something…oh amusing to see him like this, as always.
and the demon couldn’t help but smirk when Faust turned himself to go away, probably mumbling something but the man fell…and no with wasn’t against the carpet or anywhere.
it was his lap.
and thank g…thanks for Faust to not be there enough to see him slightly surprised before to playing it off and even wrap his hand against his waist pulling him closer. « Well, well ~ someone drink too much I presume ? You might as well rest there for a while ~ » as he put his chin against the man shoulder in a chuckle. Oh Faust, this amusing.
Faust had been out drinking. Mephistopheles had known, Faust hadn't exactly hid where he intended to go that night. He had asked that the demon refrain from showing up this time.
And while it hadn't ended pleasant, Faust at least got to drink his fill before leaving this time.
When he found his way home-or more accurately, what he'd been calling home for the past few months-of course the demon was there to greet him. Irritating bastard, with that smug grin of his. Faust took off his hat and tossed it at the demon.
It landed several feet away.
He took a few steps, and wondered what Mephi had done to the place, why it felt so lopsided. After all, Faust hadn't drank that much alcohol.
He had absolutely drank that much alcohol.
Faust stumbled into the room, holding a hand out as he nearly tripped, and grabbed onto the side of the chair. Goodness, he felt too hot. He fumbled with the clips of his shawl for a moment. And once they were undone, he threw it to the floor. He did the same to his half-cape. Then he registered what Mephistopheles said, and glared at the demon in front of him. Faust turned away as he muttered about the drunks that had started a fight in that bar.
And the entire room spun.
He tried to get his balance, but before he knew it, he'd fallen backwards onto something. Warm, kind of lumpy. And it moved. Something wrapped around his stomach, and Faust grimaced at the nausea it caused. He covered his mouth for a moment.
And then he heard that voice. Faust glared as the sickness passed, pulling his hand away to cover Mephi's mouth instead. "Quie'." He intended a command, but his voice wavered. "Y'r giv'ng me a hedache."
His hand fell away from the demon's face. Faust closed his eyes for a moment, letting out a faint whine. God, it was warm. "Is' heissh," he murmured as he pulled at his gloves. He managed to get them both off, revealing the gauze still covering his wrists, which he then fumbled and tore at until it was off as well. He paid no mind to the old scabs and lines.
Instead, he looked down and tried to undo the buttons on his brown coat. If he could manage to open it, maybe he wouldn't feel so hot. Just his white shirt should be fine, right?
