There's such a fine line between 'listen to your body' and 'be lazy as shit and feed your body all ze trash' smh. I don't usually like to deprive myself of food but I draw the line at eating half a jar of cookies (which happened yesterday smh). That was not okay. That was not fuel for my body, that was trash. Same thing today. I had an amazing meal at this sushi bar. I did not need to go into Burger King and get a chocolate waffle. I wasn't even hungry. I've skipped working out for the last two days. I feel like shit. Not because I'm feeling guilty but because I have built up energy and stress and I knew I was simply too lazy to get my ass to the gym. I don't plan to beat myself up about it - tomorrow i'll have a clean slate, thermodynamics be dammed. From now on it's listen to your body but feed it good shit and only skip your workout if you're too tired to go
