New Year’s, the one time of year people were able to finally relax and let themselves go, the Howling Commandos had returned back to the states for the joyful event, and again Peggy found herself surrounded by friends and laughter.
Dismissing herself from the group, the British agent tried to move herself through the thick crowd towards the bar in order to obtain her next drink. Having done so successfully she began to make her way back to the rowdy soldiers, only to walk into someone, spinning around with rosy cheeks the agent had opened her mouth to start apologising.
“You can’t cut me off!”
“Can, will, have,” Nyx said firmly, hands planted on his hips as he looked down at his drunk as hell boyfriend. Noctis had gone out drinking, with the intention of Nyx catching up with him after his shift on guard duty ended, and that was what had happened.
But Nyx hadn’t realized just how many drinks Noctis had already had by the time he’d arrived - or maybe it was just what he’d had to drink - but by the time Nyx was plesantly buzzed, Noctis was well over his limit. So it was up to Nyx to be the responsible one, and end things for the night.
“C’mon. Time to go home.”
“Look, man, I didn’t mean to pee on you.”
“But you fuckin’ did,” Zenon stated, a bit incredulous that it even happened, and began peeling off the contaminated pieces of clothes. “What the fuck, man?”
