i ain't gotta knock on wood
Taylor had never thought she'd be in a relationship where she felt secure and safe, until she met you.
Ever since she met you, she's felt nothing but happy and secure. One night, you and Taylor had a romantic date night. She decided to take you to your favorite restaurant to show you how much she loved you.
When you arrived, Taylor had to shield you from the blinding camera flashes, courtesy of the paparazzi. You were then led to a dimly lit private room with candles, and your favorite flowers. "Tay, this is beautiful" you said, in awe as you sat down.
"I wanted to do this to show you how much I love you. I've never been in such a happy, secure, safe relationship until I met you, and I couldn't be happier" she said, putting her hands on yours.
"Awww, tay. I'm so glad you feel that way" you said, looking into her blue eyes.
"It just feels like all my life, I've had to hope that the right person would come along, and believe in silly superstitions to try to have some control over my relationships, until you came along" she said.
What you didn't know is that Taylor had snuck a small velvet box in her back pocket while you were getting ready.
As she talked, you noticed her getting down on one knee and you immediately got anxious, covering your mouth with both hands. "Tay, what are you doing?" You asked, almost breathless.
"Baby, will you marry me?" Taylor asked, revealing the dazzling diamond ring inside the box.
"Of course I will, tay" you answered, jumping into her arms.
"I'm so happy, babygirl" she said, kissing your lips softly.
"Me too, tay" you said. You later left the restaurant and went home, happy to be Taylor's fiance now.
