People are Nice; the rant
Ok so lately, like the past few weeks and couple of months, I’ve been hyper aware of how NICE ppl are to me. On the Internet mostly. They buy me things!!! Im a material fuckin person so it means a LOT to me when ppl GIVE me things (also bc I’m a cheapskate (i dont wanna say poor but…im like opposite of rich ) and try not to spend money on myself so when someone ELSE does…its a lot)And ppl who don’t spend hard earned money on me tell me nice things that are just as good!! like this ask for example, wtf is up w that, how dare u be kind to me (thank u)
Bc im also not quite used to ppl being…nice….Even if it happens like all the time w all the nice ppl i know (which is a LOT) it surprises me a bit every time. And im not good at responding to it but it IS touching every time and like when it happens I visit my inbox a few times to see all the nice things ppl leave for me. Even if I can’t always respond bc I have this thing about needing to respond in a certain way and if I can’t do that then I can’t respond and I forget myself for days at a time and before I know it it’s been a week…
So, anyway!!! Here I go yet again on a spiel abt how ppl are Nice. I feel like it happens too often. One of these days I’ll be able to articulate WHY all this is so important to me, but if it tells u anything, these days I take actual real pride in my art that I used to hide from everyone. Part of that is this blog. Because people….are Nice.
