Is Unicron almost be the cybertronian version of "Cthulhu"? If not, is there a "Cthulhu" counter-part in any of the series/universe?

Well, you can certainly make comparisons between the two, both being ancient, evil god-like beings of incredible power, who have been known to lay dormant until their terrible power is awakened. The Dreamwave Armada comic drew a closer parallel by portraying Unicron’s Mini-Con partner Dead End as having been driven hopelessly insane by exposure to Unicron, something that the most powerful beings in the Lovecraft Mythos do to human minds.

But, really, you can make that sort of comparison with any mythical “evil” from any legend or story or religion. Unicron is the Transformer “devil,” the ultimate evil in their universe - transpose what other devils from other stories onto that you would like. We can, at least, say that Unicron is not Cthulhu, because Cthulhu and the Elder Gods actually exist and Optimus Prime literally beat one of them up one time.

Serious Question: In the IDW Generation 1 continuity, we the "fans" know that Megatron and Impactor were friends before war; But my question is that during and after the war, did anyone know that Megatron and Impactor were friends before slag hit the fan? If so, was it public knowledge or only a few of their relationship and decided to keep it a secret for "Autobot Protection". I need to know! (and will IDW Generation 1 continuity ever bring this to light?)

All evidence available suggests it’s not public knowledge. For example, Ironfist wrote about Megatron meeting Impactor in battle over the Manganese Mountains in “Wreckers Declassified,” in this passage:

It’s clear Ironfist doesn’t understand the significance of the words and the pair’s relationship. Likewise, as he reads this passage (in “Zero Point”) Roadbuster doesn’t pause to correct it or offer a rebuke of any kind, suggesting he’s likewise ignorant. And Whirl never expressed any understanding of why Impactor beat him almost to death when they first met one another in a prison cell, so he likely didn’t know either.

Presumably someone, somewhere, on some level knows about it, but public knowledge, it ain’t.

Does energon has "flavors"? Like some having a more "metallic" taste or something like that? Or do Cybertronians even have "taste buds"? If so, is it a privilege to have taste buds because some cybertronians have masks instead mouths.

To answer your second question first, according to G1 Streetwise’s original profile, Transformers are built with seven standard senses: sight, hearing, touch, smell, short-range radiowave transmission, magnetic sensitivity, and electric sensitivity. The exclusion of taste is in-keeping with the overly “robotic” way early G1 handled the physiology of its characters in comparison to a lot of modern media, but even back then it was a bit questionable, as there are plenty of examples of Transformers chowing down on Energon cubes - and other things - and remarking on the “taste” of them. But, perhaps what we perceive as them “tasting” something is just the infusion of the energy of energon triggering their electric/magnetic senses - take the Insecticons, for example, remarking on how the metal of Autobot City is “a little heavy on the electrons” as they chomp through it in The Transformers: The Movie. That sounds like it could be “electric sensitivity” masquerading as “taste,” right? As such, the presence or not of a “mouth” doesn’t really matter for “tasting.”

So to go from that to your first question, we can definitely say that different types of fuel “taste” a different way to Transformers. And yes, there are instances of different types of energon tasting different ways: in MTMTE, Ratchet remarked that unfiltered energon “tastes disgusting,” for example. When asked, Vector Prime said: “Energon Z is one of the most potent blends I have ever imbibed. Stanixian energon wine has a subtle bouquet of janquore that I find quite delightful.” He didn’t like Red Energon at all, though. It the Transformers: Exodus novel, Megatron felt that “the taste of Dark Energon was sweet.”

How long can a cybertronian survive without energon? (including going into stasis and eventually dead)

There’s no hard and fast rule. The Autobots and Decepticons were able to spend four million years offline when they were buried on Earth back in G1 (which Beast Wars would later retroactively gloss as “emergency stasis” to explain why they were still alive) with no ill effects. But on the other hand, stasis wasn’t a thing back in G1, and when stranded in the energy-less medieval past, Hoist and Warpath were on the brink of deactivation after scarcely a day, and later, when Ultra Magnus, the Aerialbots, and the Protectobots had their power cores removed in “The Rebirth,” Brainstorm judging that they would soon die without a new energon source.

In LL #15 that just came out, Scorponok mention that the Decepticons are dying out. Does this apply that Decepticons as a whole their own breed of Cybertronians (The War did lasted for a long time) or it more on the ideology of the Decepticons way (or both)?

I’d say it’s both. Without hot spots, the Cybertronian race isn’t getting any bigger, and though a few have taken up Decepticonism (Nickel, Swift), there are also bots who have renounced Decepticonism. “Being a Decepticon” is on the way out, as a concept.
