I'M GUESSING YOU MEAN GRAYSTRIPE LOL, floofy gray boy on the top middle. I realized too late that his ear would block Sandstorm's face beside him and with how I was squeezing the faces in around the speech bubbles, I just drew them drawn back WAY TOO FAR LOL. There was probably a better solution there. XD

Ravenstar's tired muscles ached as he padded into camp with a mouse in his jaws. It had been four moons since Bluestar died to Tigerstar's claws to become leader. Ravenstar had been lucky that the Clan believed him when he said that Tigerstar was the culprit, and his Clanmates voted him as the next leader. Odd, since he was so young, but no cat questioned it. It was before moonhigh and he had had an apprentice in Brightheart, and he was now mentoring Tigerstar's daughter, Tawnypaw, to keep an eye on her. He chose Whitestorm as his first deputy, but it wasn't long before Tigerstar, now leader of ShadowClan, launched his first attack on ThunderClan.

They attacked the nursery and the elder's den, killing nearly all the elders, only leaving Dappletail, and even Rainkit, one of Willowpelt's kits. Along with them, Whitestorm was killed by two large warriors, but was avenged by Sandstorm. Mousefur, Frostfur, and young Thornpaw were dead as well. Ravenstar named Thornpaw Thornclaw for his bravery. Now, Goldenflower was Ravenstar's deputy, and a good one too. She'd proven herself after taking one of Tigerstar's lives.

His heart pounded as he thought of the prophecy that was sent to their medicine cat, Yellowfang, before she died in the fire that tore through ThunderClan land. Fire alone will save our Clan. Bluestar had passed it onto him before she died. What could it mean?

"Ravenstar!"

The leader was broken out of his thoughts by Graystripe. The gray warrior bounded over to him while he dropped his prey on the fresh-kill pile. Behind Graystripe were Longtail and Sandstorm. They dipped their head to their leader and Ravenstar purred a bit. These were all cats he'd grown up with, it was odd seeing them be so formal.

"What is it?"

"We . . . Found something we thought you'd be interested in. Rusty?" Ravenstar's ears perked when he saw a bright russet kittypet pad through the entrance of camp. He was young, probably just a few moons younger than Tawnypaw and Bramblepaw. Ravenstar's eyes lit up and they were wide.

Fire. His heart pounded. This kittypet, he looks like a brand of fire.

"Why did you bring him here?"

"He said he wanted to join ThunderClan," Longtail snorted. "I told him you wouldn't approve, but he wouldn't listen-"

"No," Ravenstar mowed, padding toward the young tom. "Rusty, what brings you here?"

The kittypet looked as if he was going to burst, his chest puffed up with pride. "I've been having strange dreams lately, sir. I dreamed of lightning, and- and fire."

Ravenstar blinked. This must be him. "Longtail, be polite to our guest," Ravenstar meowed. His brother gave him a confused look. "You said you wanted to join ThunderClan?" Rusty nodded, holding his breath. "Then prove yourself. Show me if you're a true ThunderClan cat."

"I will!" Rusty leapt to his paws.

"Graystripe." He turned to his old friend. "Will you train this young cat, to see if he's worthy?"

Graystripe shared a glance with Sandstorm, and Longtail looked outraged. "Okay." He got to his paws. "Welcome to ThunderClan, kit."

Ravenstar watched as Graystripe introduced himself and his Clanmates to the future warrior. Firepaw. His name will be Firepaw.
