Doctor Who: Death in Heaven

This episode marked the end of Doctor Who‘s eighth season, and Capaldi’s first as the Doctor. Much like part one, Dark Water, last week, this was a slightly uneven episode with a lot of good ideas, some of which didn’t execute as well as the show clearly hoped. But the ending of it was brilliant–so much so I forgave the imperfections, and the questionable plot points.
