The second that Arizona took a step closer to her, it was like Callie’s whole world got a little bit brighter. It was impossible not to feel the way her heart p o u n d e d against her chest. The blonde’s smile lit up the room, and soon one that mirrored it found its way onto Callie’s face.
“Why would you change?” she asked curiously, her head tilting as she looked at the other woman. Before she gave her a chance to really answer, Callie shook her head. “No matter what changes you go through, I’m going to love you. And-and I want to grow with you.”

THIS GIRL. first off, I’d like to say that she came to my inbox with a plot idea that turned into a mini novel. Our Calzona threads (pick one, any one) are filled with so much angst and underlying love that I literally can’t even deal. As a writer, I find her to be amazing. I love that she can inspire really really long replies —and 99% of the time when I’m finished reading whatever it is she writes I want more. We have such a natural chemistry, which has made writing with her one of my favorite things. I can’t get enough of our threads. As a mun, she is amazing and kind and so easy to talk to. She’s another one I plan on keeping forever, and I think everyone should write with this babe okay??

Callie stood outside, despite the fact it was FREEZING. As much as she adored the holiday and spending it with her daughter, she'd agreed to let Arizona keep her for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Since she wouldn't have her little girl, Callie had made plans to travel to Miami to spend the holiday with her family. It had been a big gesture from her mother to even be invited. Her father had been thrilled when she had yes- and she had even been excited up until she'd dropped Sofia off at her ex's and felt her phone vibrate. Via email, she learned that her flight had been cancelled. Apparently the weather didn't care about her plans. She was stuck in Seattle and pissed about it. The cab she'd ridden over in was long gone, leaving her stranded. When she heard the front door open, and Arizona encourage her to come inside, the brunette let out a breath of frustration. "I don't want to intrude on your plans." She said, finally turning to face the other woman. But it was cold, and her anger would only keep her body warm for so long.
