We’re in endgame for Don’t Rest Your Head and the last session just gave me the urge to draw my Sunshine girl. 

This may not even happen, but Larissa has a VERY bad plan to go try and parley with Mother When, who happens to be the literal Fear of Death. She’s in way over her head, but she can’t bear to lose more friends.

Larissa made friends with quite a few Nightmares. A Wax Knight, a Rookery raven, and a Shadow.

We're continuing a Don’t Rest Your Head campaign. Last session, everyone forgot their time in the Mad City due to shenanigans, which had me reminiscing my girl’s intro. Larissa made friends with a shadow and proceeded to play charades.

Just had a pretty good one shot roleplaying session

My first foray into Gm’ing Don’t Rest Your Head went swimmingly with one of my PCs dying horrifically and becoming a paperboy and the other finishing his personal story arc and making a deal with a nightmare for the freedom of his little sister. 

I’ve gotta say, after playing rules intensive systems like Rogue Trader and Pathfinder, its really nice to play something with a more narrative focus and a fairly simple system for determining who wins out in any situation. Additionally half the rules are to encourage actual roleplaying in the characters and with the villains as opposed to, say, pathfinder where the mechanics come first and the flavour of the characters is almost incidental.

I’m writing new madness talents for Don’t Rest Your Head because I love that game despite never having gotten to play it! If you have any suggestions let me know~
