Buckle up for some personal headcanons in the corner with me :D!

Despite looking tough and being a soldier, Cliff is a sentimental/romantic at heart. He would very much enjoy kisses on the cheek, small pecks to the lips etc. for him its about the little things. 

Cliff is someone who isn’t afraid to express his love. He’d very much wouldn’t be embarrassed to show off some PDA, but he would keep it appropriate. He’d treat his partner well, giving them soft kisses to their face and nuzzling foreheads when possible. He’s a big fan of hand-holding.

Neck kissing, open-mouthed kisses, and anything beyond a G rating, Cliff would want to keep private. Not because he’s a prude or ashamed, but because he only wants his partner to himself in that manner. He’s very much a softy on the streets and a freak in the sheets.
