“----I thought you were DEAD !”
Gamma Quadrant Refugee
Weyoun sat on the edge of the biobed in his room in the infirmary, rubbing idly at his neck. It was a nervous habit he couldn’t seem to stop. And he had every reason to be nervous: soon, he’d be meeting with Captain Sisko to determine his fate on the station. He needed this meeting to go well - there wasn’t anywhere else he could go. And while he’d always rather liked Sisko, for a Starfleet officer, he’d never particularly given the man much reason to trust him. They had always been enemies.
And he didn’t like the thought of a former enemy seeing him like this. Weyoun was hardly the confident, arrogant Dominion diplomat he’d once been; he was a pale, thin shell of his former self, marked by signs of the abuse he’d suffered for the past three years in the Gamma Quadrant. Dr. Bashir had done what he could for the Vorta’s injuries, but it was still clear he had not been treated well, particularly by the scars around his neck where he’d been forced to wear a slave collar for so long. He flinched at sudden movements, and found it difficult to meet anyone’s eyes for long. Still, Weyoun straightened his back and tried to hold his head up high as he prepared to meet Captain Sisko for the first time in at least three years. Whatever else happened, he did not want the man’s pity.
The door slid open and Weyoun stiffened, resisting the urge to drop to the floor, as if he’d been caught doing something wrong by sitting on his own bed. Instead he made himself meet the captain’s eyes and forced a smile onto his face. “Captain Sisko... it’s... been a while.”

It felt strange to be back on DS9 now. It had been his home for so many years, and in many ways it still was Rom’s home. To come back now, in his official capacity as Nagus, with an actual entourage? (Well, a small entourage, but an entourage nonetheless.) It was sort of surreal.
For now, he decided to forgo the formalities. Everything else could wait. He just wanted to walk the station’s corridors again. When he rounded the corner and spotted Captain Sisko, suddenly it was as if everything was back to normal again. Grinning, he gave a cheerful wave. “Hi, Commander!”
“to be absolutely clear, i wasn’t attempting to fix something, and yes... i know my rad levels are high. there isn’t really a fix for that.” well, at least he didn’t think there was, and he didn’t stick around anywhere long enough to try to find one either.

A New Task

Weyoun clasped his hands behind his back as he made his way to Ops, hoping nobody would see the way they were shaking. He had recently submitted his intelligence report to Captain Sisko and Starfleet Command, and this morning he was called to Sisko’s office. It had to be regarding his report. As such, the defective Vorta was incredibly nervous. While he had been reading the texts on Federation ethics and morals, and thinking over the material, he still worried that it wouldn’t be enough to impress Sisko. It wouldn’t be an easy task, undoing the damage that his predecessors had done to the man’s opinion of him as a whole.
The ride in the turbolift was almost excruciating, his anxiety rising with every bit closer he was to Sisko’s office. It had never been this way when Dukat had occupied that same office, nor on the short visits that his predecessor had in the past while Sisko was there. Perhaps it was just another way he was defective.
Finally, he made it to Ops. Sisko’s office was mere strides away, and he took in a deep breath as he closed the distance. Up the stairs, and into the office, standing in front of the desk with as much composure as he could muster. “You wanted to see me, Captain?” Keep his head down, eyes on Sisko, be as submissive and nonthreatening as possible.

okay fine guys, I’ll go back on Elsa, bye
Nah, I’m kidding, but for real? I had a ton of freakin’ fun on Carmen from The Book of Life. Jorge is really involved in the community and we used to get feedback from him all the time. I had someone play Carlos and Manolo for her and we had a familia and it was beautiful. I thought I may go back on Carmen after Coco came out, but as I never saw Coco and just mostly missed my lil family, I never did.

“Oh wouldn’t you like to know.” Q grins softly, amused at him and his forwardness. “Certainly nothing you’re personally capable of doling out, though. I’ll give you that much.”
