Recovery: Post-Battle at the Binary Stars AU with Philippa recovering on earth while Michael is back on the Shenzhou.

'And write me every day,' Michael had asked Philippa to promise before they had parted ways. 'We will not always be in range to call, but-'
'I know,' Philippa had said, smiling as she bumped one of her crutches against Michael's uniformed leg. 'I will write, and send pictures as well so you won't worry as much.'
Michael had frowned then, had said that she knew there was nothing to be concerned about, but now, lightyears apart from her beloved, she can't help but worry. She knows Philippa is recovering, but being unable to be there by her side... It is making her feel uneasy, at edge.
Her personal communicator pings, and, currently not busy with anything urgent, Michael pulls it out to see a message from Philippa:
'They're not letting me do much here, so I am out of danger, don't worry. I had my physical therapist take a picture'
Michael smiles, then quickly puts back her communicator before anyone can catch her at it. Philippa knows that she is working and will see that she read the message, she can answer it later.
When Michael goes back to her communicator after her shift, there's a new picture and a message for her:
'Maybe it is good for me to feel real air again. But I do miss you.'
There's an audio file attached, and Michael can't help the soft smile showing on her lips. How did Philippa guess that she had been missing her voice?
'Thank you for the pictures. You are beautiful as always, and I am glad that you are doing alright. Listening to your audiofile now- love, Michael'
She types and hits send before clicking play on the audio.
"Hello, Michael..."
The smile is audible in Philippa's voice, and Michael has to close her eyes for a moment to stop herself from crying before she settles in on her bed to listen to Philippa tell her about her day.

It's rly hard to make continuing storylines because there are just not so many fitting pictures of these two xD so I guess I'm back to seperate little photo stories. So far, all the one-shots fit into the same storyline, though!

Philippa: We should send a picture into the groupchat!
Michael: is that appropriate? You're the Captain, and-
Philippa: Shush, Michael, it's the holidays! Ensign Tilly sent a picture of her and her dog in reindeer antlers, and here's Reno definitely no longer sober wearing a Santa costume- and if they wanted to stay all professional, we wouldn't even have an inofficial groupchat.
Michael still looks unconvinced, and Philippa softly smiles at her. No, Michael's Vulcan upbringing in regards of propriety is still not so easy to break through at times.
Philippa: what about this: you take a picture of me with the tree- or take your own comm, then you still participate without being in the picture!
Michael, shifting from one foot to the other, still a little uneasy: That would be a confirmation of us being together.
Philippa laughs: it's confirmation of us spending the holidays together, which could also be deducted by our shore-leave and travel logs. And really, don't you think they haven't all figured it out by now?
Michael has to smile: Alright.

Milippa Prime headcanons
For @my-gaydar-is-on-point's ask- you didn't specify which Milippa, so I'm just going to do Prime first as they're still closest to my heart (and I'm slowly over Terra Firma and not obsessing over Mirror Philippa so much anymore), might do the others later!
1) Who rocks the Ferris Wheel seat and who flips out and begs them to stop?
I don't know whether Michael would freak out, but she's definitely not the one to rock the ferris wheel seat, so I'm taking Philippa for this one! Could see her being a bit of a prankster like that :D of course she'd never take it too far if Michael really got scared.
3) Who is more into taking showers/baths together? Who tries to make it relaxing and who tries to make it sexy time?
Philippa! Other than Michael, she's used to water from earth, and likes to have an actual bath whenever the opportunity presents itself. Whether she'd try to make it relaxed or sexy times depends on the situation and their energy level, but mostly she'd just try to make sure that Michael is comfortable.
6) Who takes photos of the other while they sleep?
Both of them, I think. Michael loves to watch Philippa sleep and slowly wake up in the mornings, and she takes a holo of her to keep... of course asking Philippa whether it is alright as soon as she wakes up, and Pippa just pulls her into her arms to take a second one together.
Philippa loves to take pictures of Michael in general- a little sentimental, but she likes preserving the memories they make together that way. She doesn't catch Michael asleep all too often, as Michael's an early riser, but when she does- Michael is just so cute, looking all innocent in her sleep, and Pippa can't help wanting to take a picture.
14) Who starts the hand holding? Who grabs the others butt? Who slides their arm around their waist? Who likes to put their fingers in the belt loops?
Michael starts the hand-holding, shily brushing their fingers together at first, then taking her hand when Philippa doesn't pull away... Pippa grabs her butt, but only ever in private or when she's drunk enough not to care.
I don't think starfleet uniforms have belt loops xD but if they're in civilian clothes, Philippa would definitely pull Michael close by her belt loops! Michael likes the move and soon does the same with her.
28) Who writes poems/stories and love songs about the other? Do they sing the songs the write for them?
I'm not sure whether Michael would sing or even recite poetry, but she writes love poems for Philippa and sends them to her when they are apart.
