nasscom – Data Security Council of India (DSCI) welcomes the notification of the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, calling it a key milestone for India’s data-protection ecosystem. While industry acknowledges the clarity provided around consent, children’s data and international data transfers, it underscores that some structural aspects rooted in the parent Act still require further operational guidance.
