people wonder why inattentive ADHD is often missed or misdiagnosed but then teach ADHD as an externalising disorder.

Man I'm so glad I have ADHD and can supplement my own education but I am scared for all the psychologists in training who've never met someone with ADHD and just focus on the textbooks

the broad and narrow of it is that if you are homeless or mentally ill, and you are considered a threat to public safety (such as, for example being arrested at a public disturbance, like a protest, or simply existing in a public space while homeless) you can be institutionalized.
