I've actually been planing to make a ask blog for c drista from my drista au and was wondering if have any tips for ask blogs or anything :3 (not a cc dteam supporter btw)

oh boy HMMM prewarning this is not gonna be well written brains not braining today im not really sure what tips to give here - i can say, the most important thing imo is to just have fun! choose a character you know and like and get started! and don't feel pressured to answer any asks or anything if you don't want to AND post things that aren't responding to asks! it's your blog, knock yourself out! ill give a rundown though on my thoughts making my ctommy asks blog if that helps at all! 👍 so when making the ask blog i have for ctommy i chose him because i know how to play him over something like tumblr - i know how that version of c!tommy acts, how he'd type, how he'd talk, etc. i knew i didn't want to be limited solely to tommy though and also i wanted it to be like c!tommy was ACTUALLY making an ask blog - so i was like - what would he do and why would he want to make a tumblr blog? - servers getting boring! we need stuff to do, let's ask people questions! it seemed pretty in character for him and it meant i could drag in any character while still mostly speaking as c!tommy since i knew him best plus, i find him the easiest to draw so that just helps (if you're doing drawings for your ask blog - many don't, some do! i just enjoyed drawing for it and also thought that if i added something most other ask blogs didn't do, it might be noticed more which seemed to work for me) when it comes to the dsmp timeline for ctommyasks, i personally don't have anything written out/concretely set, but if you want to keep things in order, you can make a bullet point timeline of your version of drista just to keep track! i just chose a point in time where i wanted to start, drew tommy, and built off that! i have a loose idea of some things in my head and relationships with other characters, but everything is subject to change really if you wanna look at any other blogs for inspiration, ive seen quite a lot of dsmp ask blogs over the years but my final push into actually making one was @snowchester01 ! so id definitely recommend theirs along with @tubbo3091 who's, from what ive seen, pretty iconic among the dsmp ask blogs for portraying c!tubbo really well edit: i also chose one art style to stick with for the blog because unless your reality is just shifting like that the way it looks isn't gonna change dramatically every few days but that's also not something you have to do. again, it's your blog, have fun with it! just a personal preference for mine

the ones i like the most are alliumduo, bedrock bros, blondeduo (purpled and tommy) and peer pressure duo!

Fundy

I like fundy/c!fundy a lot, I think his character has so much potential and im kinda upset with how hes dealt with his character so far? like since he CAME he just had SOO much fucking potential being Wilbur's son and all, it seems like fundy is working on his lore a lot tho soo hopefully that'll change soon and we’ll get a whole character arc

how I feel about this character?

as a c!tommy enthusiast, it's not surprising that i dont like him all that much! he's incredibly well written and i like his character, but i dont like the character if that makes sense. i like him more than ghostbur though, and i think he's redeemable! he was a lost morally in pogtopia, but i think we can chalk a lot of that up to mental illness. i don't excuse the things he's done, but i definently think he can atone for them :]!!

all the people I ship romantically with this character?

im not a big shipper! but i did really like the idea of georgebur, especially during the peacetime/election era.

my non-romantic OTP for this character?

i'm not really sure what this means, but if it just means platonic pairings i like with him than, obviously, tommy. i also really like niki and his dynamic and fundy and him are a really complex duo that i deffo wanted more from!

my unpopular opinion about this character?

i'm not sure if i have any! altho, when everyone was making hurt/comfort and fluff stuff about him and tommy in the afterlife and how it would be a nice reunion, i thought that it would be genuinely awful because wilbur would still be similar to the way he died. i also don't really like the whole revived plotline, i think c!wilbur should've died and stayed dead, but i'm not sure how the resurrection will go, so don't hold me to that opinion lol

one thing i wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

i wish we got more afterlife content. like that beginning of a stream where it was just black and tommy talked with wilbur was SOOO good and i wish they did more of it :]

Quackity, too

I fucking LOVE quackity and im so excited to see las Nevadas, I am a little..idk confused abt the sudden switch of character tho? as in how he even talked abt (in the lmanburg era) that he doesnt care abt power and now its suddenly his main focus? ik in some ways it makes sense bc of after schlatt and the butcher army and stuff but I feel like his character kinda fluctuates weirdly in personality and its a little annoying bc (in my opinion) it tends to make things a little inconsistent 

also I miss karlnapity sad

ponk: which part of the smp made you feel the happiest?

i think all the peacetime lmanburg era made me happiest. just the welcoming of new people onto the server, building whatever, it was really happy and nice <3 new lmanburg was great but it always felt like some big angsty lore or something canon was gonna happen and there wasnt a lot of that worry for the first one.
