I had the great opportunity to be able to use the DISCOVER SEOUL PASS and visit 63 Building in Seoul for the first time. The 63 Square skyscraper is a Yeouido landmark commanding spectacular views of the city. Standing 249 meters (817 ft) high and comprising of 60 floors and three basement levels, 63 Square is one of Korea’s tallest and most recognized buildings. The glass elevators which serve the viewing observatory ascend at a speed of 460 meters per minute, taking just 25 seconds to reach the top. But the tower isn't just an observatory for panoramic views of the city, it is a multi-venue leisure complex featuring an aquarium, art gallery, making it a popular spot for dates and family outings. I visited the Aqua Planet and also the Art Gallery. The Aqua planet has an unique show where real people pose as mermaids and have a show once at 30 minutes. Flowers by Naked - Hongdae is an interactive multimedia exhibition that consists of various galleries with moving displays and colorful illuminations. The exhibition includes eight zones such as Glowing Garden, Dandelion - Breath of Bless, Chill, Cherry Blossom Garden and others. Flowers are the main theme of the exhibition, while the goal of the exhibition is to express the coexistence of nature and technology. On the same floor, visitors can find a café, which also has a nature theme and is known for its unique dessert options. Additionally, there are classrooms, where floral master classes are held, and a mini concert hall, where visitors can enjoy music performances by various bands. Erik Johansson is a Swedish-born artist based in Prague who creates surreal images by recombining photographs and other materials. He captures ideas by combining images in new ways to create what looks like a real photograph, yet with logical inconsistencies to impart an effect of surrealism.
