She’s not part of the story yet… but she will be.
There’s someone who knew Cyclum before the fall.
Before the shadow throne. Before the silence.
Her name is Imolda.
She tried to help. She really did.
But sometimes, no matter how close you stand to someone,
you can’t stop them from breaking.
This moment?
Not the end. Not the beginning either.
Just a scar that stayed.......
Ancient story : The Torch Mounts
This is a mini comic for DST AS. (don't starve another story)
I thought about what title to give. Ancient rush or Little fire. And then I thought, okay, I've got a lot of ideas. Have a summary name and be broken down into very small subtitles. I make it in black and white, because it's much faster than doing it in color. I will use the color to highlight.
Metheus sketch
Just like I redrew Cyclum, Metheus is finally getting his update too.
I always imagined him as the embodiment of the deep lunar faith — the belief that the Moon can bring peace to the soul, and that death takes the pain away, leaving only stillness and silence.
He’s in constant ideological conflict with Cyclum, who sees things through a rational lens: for him, relieving physical suffering in the present is what truly matters.
Their tension is more than personal — it’s philosophical. One wants to ease the body’s pain. The other seeks peace for the soul after death.
That’s how I’ve always imagined this ancient belief system.
And what do you think?
Is it more important to ease suffering in life, or to believe the soul will find peace after death?
(Secretly, I believe… the truth lies somewhere in between.)
