Delightful Switch Teen AU, anyone? Because my brain came up with the craziest plot!
To sum it up: David adopted Irwin when he turned 13 > he tried to get custody of Nigel when his parents died but Father arrived first > still, managed to secure the house (and treehouse above) and he and Irwin moved in it to keep it safe > after Nigel was turned 18, he went living with David and Irwin in his old house > When Penny arrived, all three of them started taking care of her and David became her guardian since her parents were ???????????
Now everyone is there trying to hide their involvement with KND from her and the fact that they are all gay because ???????? It's still 2013 and a perfect set up for comedy.
some more Don’t Starve Together AU along with a few tidbits about his benefits and deficits
- being around fire whether its a torch, campfire, or forest fire, lowers his sanity at a faster rate than normal. he comes with a blueprint for a lantern that has a pretty long durability, that can light up when containing fireflies. Morpheus does not need to use anything to catch fireflies, they fall asleep when he gets close and can be easily transferred to the lantern to substitute a torch.
- he has an entirely new bar, for consciousness or sleep, he’d have an ability to take naps during the day for a single slice of the day- never in the evening or at night. during the night he could sleep regularly, and it regains his consciousness bar but lowers his sanity slightly if he sleeps without another living thing being visible on screen.
- animals around him fall asleep within a certain distance- birds are less affected and can still fly away, the lower his consciousness meter the more severe the sleeping aura affects those around him. his presence does not affect boss npcs like Dragonflys or walruses, but it will slow them down and lower their damage.
- sleeping raises his consciousness meter and those who sleep within a certain distance of him experience only 25% of the hunger bar drop that they would experience sleeping through the night.
- he has a smaller hunger bar and health bar than usual, but his hunger bar depletes slower.
- the shadowy monsters that appear when you’re low on sanity do less damage to his sanity and his health than usual.
- he can learn the blueprint for a bucket to collect rainwater, and if he has enough, a slice from the day can be used to use the action Self Care, which would involve washing his hair, and it increases his sanity by a large amount.
- when cutting down birchnut trees its possible he will come across coffee beans, which he can make into coffee if he collects water and then alchemizes a coffeepot. coffee increases his sanity more than sleep does, but raises his consciousness meter only the same as a night of sleep, and increases his health and hunger bar by a small amount.
- if a comrade dies and their ghost replaces them, his sanity depletes faster than usual even when the ghost is not within his vicinity

5 years ago today I drew my OC Whitney for the first time! :D I did another drawing of her in the Don’t Starve style a few days ago, it can be found HERE.
As it stands now, Whitney is my Cuphead OC, but she was originally made for the Don’t Starve world. I started expanding on her story beyond the Don’t Starve world and eventually she just became an independent OC, but I wanted to have her in another fandom world again but never found the right one, but Cuphead came out and stuff just happened xD
@everythings-better-with-bacon has also made this fun Cuphead Don’t Starve AU and flt like I should do something for that too :D
