Was anyone else really surprised that Nagisa decided to go into the pro swimming world? It really didnât seem like something he would do tbh, but maybe thatâs just me lol
âI think it worked for Rei bc of his arc in dttf but not really for Nagisa. In dttf I got the sense from Nagisa that he wasnât going to continue swimming after high school just from the way that he spoke about things. It felt like the end of the road for his competitive swimming days. In The Final Stroke it seemed as if they didnât wanna go through the trouble of figuring out what Nagisa Rei and Gou would do after high school, so they gave Gou something really vague and just made Rei and Nagisa continue swimming. Iâm like I get it, TFS had too much going on for them to give too much time to the Iwatobi Trio but MAN.
