According to the caption and the accompanying text (p. 432): Turban of 'gaze lamée' and crepe de chine'. Satin dress decorated with satin 'chevrons' trimmed with Blonde (bobbin lace) and 'bouillons' of tulle. The print is part of the fashion magazine Journal des Dames et des Modes, published in Frankfurt as a copy of the French edition by Pierre de la Mésangère, Paris, 1797-1839. Figure copied to Costume Parisien 2057. According to the caption there, the turban is a design by M. Du Plessis and the gown a creation by Madame Bouhot.

UFC 297: Strickland vs Du Plessis

I thought Strickland would have a slight edge against Du Plessis. When looking back on Du plessis' previous fights, his win over Whittaker wasn't that impressive considering Roberts been chinny since Adesanya's first meeting. Also, when you make someone like Derek Brunson look like a decent fighter, you're not champion material.

    Seeing Strickland in the first round with a high volume of punches and swiftness made me believe that he wisen up, but he went back to his usual self in the following rounds. I know that hes picking his shots carefully, but thats what made him lose this fight tonight (it's also why he lost to Cannonier). 

    As for Du Plessis, his fighting style is exploitable and his endurance doesn't look like it improved despite whatever BS he was saying about his nose last year.

    All things considered, I believe that the MW division will be a revolving door of belt holders for a while, which is fine be me. The division is in a better state than where it was previously when Adesanya was champion and people gave him high praise for going against opponents with low fight IQ.
