[[ Sextans ]]
Sextans: Our characters are lost together.
"I'm sure it's this way! Yes, it must be this way!" Ashley says proudly, waving a poorly devised map around and marching off to the right. Sarine 'tsks' and shakes her head while Micha scurries after him, more because of the fact that Meri was firmly attached to Guile's fur and not letting go--it was too fun a ride to--than because she actually believed in Ashley's navigating prowess.
She thinks she's justified, though, because this was the fifth time in which Ashley announced that he knew exactly where they were going, and would probably fast be the fifth time he got them hopelessly lost.
Not, she muses drily to herself, that it would have been much better if she was the one navigating. It was quickly proving to be difficult not knowing the language of this country. Ashley was probably just directionally challenged--he certainly hadn't seemed like he didn't understand the writing on the map.
"Oh...? Didn't we pass this place already?" Micha ventures to ask. Ashley pivots on his heel and prances back, making a show of inspecting the mark she scored on the lower part of a tree trunk with a knife. It was Sarine's idea, and Micha isn't sure if she quite likes it, given all the times they passed one of her marks.
Ashley strokes thoughtfully at his goatee, frowning at the tree. "Well," he says finally, "I suppose it wasn't the right, after all."
Everyone groans.
[[ ouo ... AshleyxElise babbies? >v> ]]
B) gingers all over
Ashley rested his chin on his hand as he gazed at Elise thoughtfully before speaking. "You really are a wonderful young woman, Elise. I'm grateful to know you." He smiled warmly and then leaned in to kiss her.
"I NEVER ASKED FOR THIS"
[[ Psychic, Grass ]]
Psychic: If we could read your mind, what would we hear?
Faran: All the suspicious men will be crushed. ALL OF THEM. GO AWAY FROM MY FAMILY. (Faran is instinctively wary of all the people he's met so far in Unova, so although he'll act cool on the outside, on the inside his brain will be on overdrive in analyzing potential threats. He doesn't trust you. He's always watching you. Always.)
Sarine: Probably exactly what she says, with a lot of extra snark. She also analyzes things from all angles and tends to dissect things into ways that can be used as meaningful life lessons for Micha. So it'll most likely be life lecture after life lecture, with the occasional sniff of distaste towards peoples' stupidity.
Meri: BREADBREADBREADBREADBREADLOVELOVELOVEBREADLOVELOVELOVEHUGSLOVEBREAD ... BUTTERFLY 8D
Grass: Would you become a wild Pokemon if you could?
Faran: Wild or not doesn't matter to Faran. He already has considerable amount of freedom anyway so unless Micha was to point him out to other people, people would automatically assume that he's wild and cruising around looking to snatch someone's livestock. The only thing that binds him to Micha is the fact that she raised him from an Egg. He won't want to admit it but he's rather attached.
Sarine: The thought never crossed her mind. She's been with Micha's family since the time she was born, and while she's confident in her ability to defend herself should she go to the wild she's far too worried about Micha to do so. Poor girl would be absolutely lost without her guidance. Sarine can't have that. Not at all.
Meri: He would never make it. Never. Poor baby has horrendous stranger danger senses and would sidle up to anyone, hence opening himself up to being eaten by a large multitude of predators. Also, if he was to be a wild Pokemon there would be no more cuddles. So no wilderness for Meri.
[[ Raine - Poison ]]
Poison - What is a secret that even your trainer knows nothing about?
Raine; I have no desire to fight, just because I can doesn't mean I want to. I'm sticking around to make sure Elise doesn't get herself killed.
[[ Blackjack!]]
13th person gets: to die in my character's arms.
So after being married to her for three days Faran eats him AHEM I'll be serious now.
He had probably taken his thieving and his cons and his lies a little too far this time, but still, this was too much. Micha shifted the other man, not daring to do anything big with the amount of blood she can currently see, and Faran swoops in low for a surprisingly gentle landing. She breathes a small sigh of relief now that they're out of the chaos in the city where she had first crashed into Ashley's sorry state.
"Hang on; I'll get something to stop the bleeding," she says, watching as Meri struggles hard to control his Sandstorm that is lowering the pair to the ground. It's the least bumpy way she can think of at this moment.
She's about to leave and follow through with what she said but a weak hand holds her back. Turning back, she's met with half-lidded green eyes and a lazy, pained smile. "Oh, it's fine," the man claims. "A small setback; a small wound. It doesn't even hurt anymore."
Dread stirs in the pit of Micha's stomach and she hurries to shush him, but he keeps talking, words barely above a whisper, and she has to grab his hand to keep it from slipping off and falling to the ground. Too late, too late, one part of her mind screams. Run, run, every second counts, the other part counters.
Micha ends up staying rooted by the other man's side, Meri hiding behind her back. She listens to him talk--a fabulous story of everything he's going to do when the little wound heals, and when he pauses in his story she hastily says stuff that makes every storyteller smile. A "yes, I see" here, a "and then?" there. This seems to please him immensely.
Letting him die happy was the least she could do for him.
He never finishes his story. Micha is left with a silent, bloodied man and a half-finished story about how he's going to get that man back by relieving his pockets of all his gold, and how he's going to prance around town afterwards and head to his favorite tavern, where he'll spin grand tale after tale of his adventures to a story-hungry audience of wide-eyed people.
A small wound, indeed.
"Goodbye."
[[ Blackjack~ \D ]]
4th person gets: My character to propose and be married for three days.
It was only three days, it was only three days.
Elise had stood there for some time, repeating those five words over to herself.
"Eliiiiiisee~ What is it you wanted?"
Ashley's voice snapped her out of her mantra and she stared up at him, fidgeting with the box in her hands, eventually lowering herself down onto one knee as she opened up the box.
"I-It is only for a few days but.. Will you.." Why was this happening, "Will you marry me..!"
Ashley stared down at the younger girl before biting back laughter, one hand reaching out to tug her up, "Oh dear, betrothed, yes..! Now, who shall we tell first..?~"
Oh he was going to enjoy these three days.
