Hall of Mirror in the Ducal Palace/Palazzo Ducale (Mantua; Italy)
The Ducal Palace Museum - with almost 1000 environments, towers, roads, courtyards and garden - represents Italy’s biggest architectural museum complex, and is amongst the most extended courts of renaissance origin in Europe.
The Palace includes richly decorated apartments, and Baroque-style galleries (the Gallery of Mirrors).
The Gallery of the Mirrors gets its name from the neoclassical decorations that are added in the 18th century. The ceiling was allegedly by the painter Guido Reni’s pupil.
